What is Piccolo Mondo(Small World) Farmer’s Market?

This is how we will be celebrating Terra Madre Day in one of the small corner’s of the world! The Oude Molen Eco -Village where Piccolo Mondo will be held signifies bringing two small world’s together in one celebration in association with the Cape Town Talent Exchange.

Our market theme will centre on Christmas shopping which have been strongly influenced by the innovativeness of recycling and gift ideas! Eating different foods from all the cultures in South Africa that are an integral part of our food traditions. Great vegetarian foods and snacks, an organic coffee and tea bar with sumptious cakes. In the braai area expect braaied fish and patats, boerewors and ostrich meat in celebration of nature and its wise ways!

Bring your eco- bags & baskets for a variety of fresh organic produce and your children to ride the ponies and horses!

Stall hire: R200 per table on Sat 10 December 2011
Venue: Oude Molen Eco -Village, Alexandra Road, Pinelands
Venue is right next door to Vincent Palotti hospital and opposite Pinelands station
